Worldview Choice

We tend to believe what appeals to us.  Our worldview is usually based more on emotions or choice than on what is logical or reasonable based on evidence.  In this video, The Inevitable Consequences of An Athiestic Worldview  Jim describes the logical result of an atheist worldview.

  • Our achievements and creativity have no future value
  • Behaving badly is more beneficial provided you don’t get caught
  • Human life has no worth

I understand the appeal of this view over any theistic worldview for one who does not want to be morally accountable to any kind of Higher Power or Creator.  It’s not surprising that many who reject theism intuitively and unconsciously borrow from the theistic worldview.   Other than the lack of a moral authority, what does the atheist worldview have to offer?
